In May 2017, Independent Schools Victoria presented the inaugural Arts Learning Festival, a five-day event for students, teachers, school leaders, families and the wider community that explored the importance of arts in education.
Through a series of interactive projects, workshops, performances and discussions, we triggered creative thinking and started conversations about different viewpoints. We showed how art crosses barriers and how it connects us to each other, to ourselves, and to cultures both familiar and unfamiliar.
We invited students from all school sectors and the wider community to come along and get involved.
We’ll see you again in 2019.

The Arts Learning Festival acknowledges and respects the traditional custodians of the land on which it is based, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and pays respect to Elders past and present.
